Art Trade: Hinata's Strange Date Prep

Hinata stood nervously in front of the changing rooms in a local store. She let out a sigh to relieve herself, but the tension returned when she looked in the mirror. The reason being that she stared at the reflection of Ino Yamanaka, whose body she currently possessed. She even blushed when she saw how revealing the outfit Ino’s body was wearing.

“How did I get myself in this situation?” Hinata asked herself as she thought back to the morning.

(FLASHBACK)

“Hey, Hinata!” Ino said as she caught up with the blue-haired girl. “Why’d you call me up so suddenly?”

“Well, um…I wanted your help with something.”

“What’s that?”

“Well, you know Naruto and I have been dating for a while now, right?”

“Yeah, what about it?

“Well, I was thinking of getting a new outfit or two to impress him, but I don’t have as keen a fashion sense as you, so…”

“I’d love to help you out!” Ino excitedly said.

“Really? You’d help me pick out some new clothes?”

“Yes, but you know, you’d be a better judge of which outfits work for you or not.”

“So, what do you…”

“Just stand still; I have a great idea,” Ino said as she assumed a new stance while holding her arms out. “Mind Replacement Jutsu!”

In an instant, Hinata saw her own body standing in front of her. Startled, she looked down, and was surprised to see Ino’s body. “Ino…what have you…”

“Like I said, you’re the best judge of what would look best on your body. So I used my new jutsu to switch our bodies so you could get a view of your body you wouldn’t get in a mirror. That way, you can have a better idea of how an outfit will look on you.”

(END FLASHBACK)

“Hey, Hinata, what do you think?” Ino said as she emerged from the dressing room.

Hinata blushed as she saw her own body dressed in a tube top and miniskirt. High-heel boots were on her legs and a sleeveless vest helped cover more of her upper body. However, she wasn’t pleased with how much midriff and cleavage the outfit revealed.

“Don’t be shy, Hinata,” Ino said as she twirled to show off every angle. “You know Naruto will love this!”

“It’s too embarrassing!” Hinata cried. “Please change!!”

“You’re no fun, Hinata. You should really try showing off more skin.”

“Hinata!” Naruto’s voice rang out as he made his way to where she and Ino were.

Hinata blushed as she saw Naruto approach Ino and say, “What are you doing dressed like that? I don’t want people getting the wrong idea about you?”

Adding a stutter to her voice, Ino said, “Well, um…I…I was trying to make myself look prettier for you…”

Looking between the two girls, Naruto said, “You really don’t need to do that, Hinata, but if you want to, please don’t dress like that, okay?”

“Of course,” Ino said, a tinge of disappointment in her voice.

“I wasn’t talking to you, Ino,” Naruto said, surprising the two girls.

“Wha…but how…?”

“Hinata hasn’t stuttered like that in a few months, Ino,” Naruto said. He then placed his hand on Hinata’s, and said, “I’ll see you for our date tonight, hopefully with your own body.”

“Sure,” Hinata said as Naruto walked away.

“Spill the beans!” Ino said as she pushed herself into Hinata’s face. “Just what all have you and Naruto done? Have you gotten past first base already?”

“Find me tasteful outfits, including a nice dress for my date tonight, and I might consider telling you,” Hinata said, a mischievous smile appearing on her face.
