Year of Swaps, 2015: Halloween Party (Part 1)

Blair had a hard time adjusting to Robin’s body at the beginning of the month. She would do nothing but complain how everything would be better if she could use her magic. A frequent thing for her to complain about was how much easier it was to manipulate objects to thoroughly clean her during a bath. I tried to point out how she had Robin’s Flower-Flower Fruit powers, but she insisted that magic was better.

All in all, the month of September was hard for me, Hinata, Tearju and Juvia to adjust to. Even Black Widow, who was staying with us until she got her body back, had a hard time keeping calm around the possessed woman. Korra and Asami were away on a business trip (hey, being in charge of keeping peace through the world isn’t easy), so they avoided the constant complaints. We all made sure she agreed to make it up to Robin for all the time she possessed her, and she reluctantly agreed.

Finally, Ruben came back at the beginning of October. He was at first awestruck that I now had Seras Victoria’s body, but decided to just complete his objective and pulled Blair out of Robin’s body. He then left, with a promise to return if he felt someone needed to be taught a lesson…or if he was just bored; I was only half-paying attention at the early hour of the morning he came.

“Finally! It’s good to have my body back!” Blair excitedly said as she kept alternating between her human and cat forms. Each time she did, she wore a different outfit in her human form.

“Wha…what happened?” Robin asked. “I remember hearing Blair arguing with someone, but then…nothing.” She then looked at me and said, “Looking good, but I could’ve sworn you were somewhere else…or someone who looked like you.”

I sighed and said, “You may want to take a seat; there’s a lot you need to know.”

An hour later, the rest of the girls and I had filled Robin in on the month she had spent unaware she was possessed by Blair. She sent a dark glare at Blair, who retorted, “Hey, that was done against my will! I’m just as much a victim here as you!”

“I believe my case is more severe since, in essence, I’ve lost a month of my life. You’re going to have to make that up to me, you know.”

“And how do you propose I do that?”

I leaned forward and whispered into Robin’s ear, “We made sure she completely agreed to do whatever you may ask of her.”

Robin’s smile grew slightly wider as she said, “Alright, I think I know just what I want you to do.”

Growing nervous, Blair asked, “Wh…what is that?”

(Halloween Night)

I had just finished tying the knots on the flame-patterned bikini top that finished my costume for the party that night. Stepping back, I looked at the rest of my costume to make sure I didn’t seem to not be dressed as Yoko Littner. Looking at a picture Robin gave me for reference, I sighed and said, “Everything looks right, aside from the ponytail.” Gripping my (Seras’) short blond hair, I shrugged and said, “I’m sure Robin won’t mind.”

I then went downstairs and saw Hinata, Juvia and Tearju putting final preparations in the living room. Hinata had dressed as Starfire, though was always looking for ways where her midriff wouldn’t be in plain view, such as standing behind a chair or holding a pillow in her arms whenever she sat down. Juvia had dressed as Aqua, and she pulled it off nicely, even if her hair wasn’t as short as Aqua’s was. Tearju was standing nervously, a blush on her face at the fact that she was dressed as the Dark Magician Girl.

“How’s it going, girls?” I asked, still loving the British accent in my voice that I was losing the next day.

“It’s fine,” Hinata said. “All the decorations are finished, the food’s been prepared and the karaoke machine’s been plugged into the TV.”

“All that’s left is for the guests to arrive,” Juvia said with a tone of finality.

“Um…are you sure I should be wearing this?” Tearju asked, shifting nervously in place. “I feel too exposed dressed like this, especially my legs and breasts.”

“How do you think I feel?” I asked, indicating my own outfit. “You’re lucky you’re not exposing as much skin as I am. …wait a minute; where’s Robin? She isn’t back yet?”

“She said she was arriving with Kay and Konan, and we’d finally know what happened to Blair the whole month,” Hinata answered.

Before I could ask, I saw Robin walk into the house. She was dressed in a pink dress with spaghetti straps over her shoulders. Light pink opera gloves adorned her arms while a gold and purple crown rested on her head. Approaching her, I said, “You look very pretty tonight, Robin.”

Robin then giggled, gave me a playful wink and said, “Thanks, but you’ve got my identity wrong, Mr. Kuro.”

“Kay? Then where’s Robin?”

“Right here,” I heard Konan’s voice say as said woman’s body walked in the house. She wore a plaid shirt that was tied at the bottom to allow her waistline to be shown to anyone who looked. She also had short denim shorts and cowgirl boots on her feet, completing her costume.

“That’s different,” Juvia said, more to herself than anyone else.

“I thought I’d go with something a little different this year,” Robin said, putting her hands on her hips.

“Well, it’s not all bad,” Konan (possessing Kay’s body) said as she walked in the house. She had dressed in a black blouse and skirt with red trimming, sheer pantyhose on her legs and knee-length black boots with red laces. A red cloak with a hood completed her ensemble. “At least we’re all comfortable with the costumes.”

Kay then hugged Konan and said, “I still can’t get over how cute you look! I never want to let you go!”

Konan looked out the door and said, “Blair, a little help?”

Suddenly, a plush of Konan’s current appearance appeared, causing Kay to release Konan and hug it, a large smile on her face.

Konan sighed and said out the door, “Thanks, Blair.”

“You’re welcome, Mistress…” Blair said, an annoyed tone in her voice. She then walked in the house, dressed in a black dress that extended to her ankles. Low heel black shoes adorned her feet, as she also wore a white apron and a white frilled had on her head. Her cat ears twitched in the cold air.

“What did you do with Blair?” I asked Robin.

She smirked and said, “In order to make up for my lost month, I had her stay at Kay’s house and act as her maid, doing anything Kay and Konan asked. It was so much fun. Blair spent most of her time being cuddled in cat form since Kay thought it was too cute.”

“It is cute! In fact…” Kay said as she rushed past everyone and sat down on one of the chairs in the living room. She then said, “Kitty, get on my lap!”

Blair sighed and said, “Yes, Princess.” She then turned into cat form and leapt on Kay’s lap and put on a smile. Konan pulled out a camera as Kay started petting Blair and said, “Everyone gather around! This is a great photo op!”

After the photo was taken, I saw others approaching the house, so said, “Okay, everyone! Let’s get this party started!”

(In the woods outside of town)

A robed figure stood in a clearing as the full moon shone brilliantly. He raised his arms toward the moon, as it seemed the moonlight seemed to focus on his location. A smirk appeared on his face as his arms started to take on a different form and he said, “Yes! Soon…very soon…”
